About Committee Representatives

Our Student Representatives are part of the shared governance and represent students on important university matters. Get to know the students representing different interests across various university-wide committees.

Call for Representatives

We are looking for students to represent us on the following committees.

Provost Advisory Committee on Women’s Concerns (PACWC)

  • Term: 1 year

  • Open Positions: 2 student representatives (females preferred)

  • The committee will be undertaking a review of its charge and composition this fall.

  • First Meeting: October 14, 2024, with the Provost.

Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching Award (CDTA) Selection Committee

  • Term: 1 year

  • The committee meets twice during the semester.

  • First Meeting: Late November/Early December, followed by a second meeting in January.

Academic Calendar Committee

  • Term: Monthly meetings from September through January/February, until the calendar is complete.

  • Details: Meeting time is yet to be determined.

Executive Director for Campus Recreation Search Committee

  • The committee will hold one meeting before the end of the semester, with candidate material reviews and interviews scheduled for late January/February 2025.
